Project Description:

South Cameron School included the design and construction of a new 100,903 square-foot building that replaced the original school, which was destroyed in Hurricane Rita in 2005. The new structure includes a full cafeteria and full commercial kitchen, is completely raised above the flood elevation and is designed for the high wind loads and storm surges that can occur along the Gulf Coast portion of Cameron Parish.
